We are looking for tutors in subjects such as English, Writing, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Elementary Subjects, SAT, ACT, World Languages, and more.

Our process starts with a consultation between the student, family, and a Tutor Doctor Educational Consultant. Our tutor is then matched with the student based on academic background, location, and availability.
You will be responsible for scheduling and session management. Our students usually remain with the same tutors for the duration of their tutoring. Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes in length, and you can expect to meet with a student once or twice per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively and comprehensively deliver subject matter tutoring
Facilitate tutoring sessions for the prescribed subjects at the agreed time and location
Review homework as necessary
Work with the student to close any learning gaps or enhance understanding in subject areas
Provide additional practice work to ensure a thorough understanding of the topic covered
Submit a session report for our office and families after each tutoring session within 24 hours of the session
Communicate relevant information regularly to your local Tutor Doctor office
Willingness to travel to student's location
Ability to create lesson plans
Strong typing, PC, and recording skills
Access to reliable transportation with valid auto insurance
Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
Job Types: Part-time, Contract

OUR TUTORS ARE:
Certified teachers
Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with experience
Special Education teachers
College Juniors and Seniors with a passion and experience in teaching
Subject matter experts with experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree -or-
College Junior/Senior with a 3.0 GPA
Master's degree and up is a plus
Teaching Certification is a plus
