Kleinwell Family Fitness Fair April 26

SPRING, Texas -- The third annual Kleinwell Family Fitness Fair sponsored by Tomball Regional Medical Center will be hosted at Klein Memorial Stadium, Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to noon. The event is free to all ages and will feature many fun activities, demonstrations, games and so much more.

The Klein ISD Kleinwell Program is an employee wellness program that helps employees and their families identify personal health risks, provides motivation and support for employees making healthy choices, controls health care costs through disease prevention and improves and prolongs lives of Klein ISD employees. “It’s so amazing how many events we have this year,” stated Kleinwell program coordinator, Winni Attaway. “Kids of all ages will have a great time throughout the day.”

Some of this year’s Family Fitness Fair sponsors include: title sponsor, Tomball Regional Medical Center, as well as, Chick-fil-A 1960 & Cutten, Next Level Urgent Care and McDonald’s of Gleannloch Farms & McDonald’s Northpointe.

Chick-fi- A will provide baskets filled with sandwiches and other goodies to the first place winners of four races of the One Mile Fun Run/Walk, baskets filled with goodies to the men’s and women’s winners of the Biggest Loser competition and chicken nuggets to all Fun Run/Walk participants. The Chick-fi- A cow will be hosting games and other prizes at the Chick-fil-A tent.

Next Level Urgent Care are sponsoring 1590 AM Radio Disney who will have games and other activities for children throughout the event.

Ronald McDonald will make an appearance at the Family Fitness Fair and will provide both the men’s and women’s winners and runners up of the Biggest Loser competition with one free salad every week for a year. McDonald’s will also provide coupons and games.

“With the support of these sponsors the Kleinwell Healthy Living Program can continue to grow and benefit the community in which we all live and work,” said Kleinwell program coordinator, Winni Attaway.

The Family Fitness Fair also features a One Mile Fun Run/Walk for people of all ages. The entry fee is $10.00 per person which includes a T shirt and awards. In addition to the special guests and the One Mile Fun Run/Walk, the Family Fitness Fair will include more than 40 vendors from the community, demonstrations, activities including Zumba dancing, strength training, massage chairs, games such as a moonwalk and obstacle course, a clown, face painting and much more.
